Having moved out to the countryside 6 months ago, I’m trying to not be a typical suburbanite.  No fast food (no one delivers out here and drive out and pick some up, it’s cold by the time you’ve got home…), no mains gas, and an Aga to master.  I’m getting there.  Slowly.  Bearing in mind before we moved out of my MDF-stylee kitchen I was a lousy cook, and anything I tried to grow quickly turned a pathetic shade of brown…  
I’ve got great plans for out here.  I want to turn the weed garden into a fully-fledged vegetable garden, with fruit trees.  Maybe some chickens.  Become the fantastic interior designer that I am within the confines of my own mind.
We’ll see how it goes.  For better or for worse.  Watch this space…
